I believe I have found a perfect timepiece.
Ridiculous praise, I know, and ordinarily I wait a few weeks to share a new acquisition. But I have no doubt from the moment I cracked the lid.
My first quick impressions are:
1. The dial is much more silver color than standard white gold Senator Chronometer dial. Coupled with the brushed case walls, this timepiece is matte in appearance. Unbelievable. I will take photos to try and capture it, but it needs to be seen live.
2. I grossly underestimated how beautiful the movement is with the rose gold plating.
3. The bezel is sublime. Makes the watch look larger, but the concave shape and subtle knurled edge are exquisite. The profile of the watch is... perfect.
