The transition from case to lug is so wonderfully Art Deco, it's like the Chrysler Building, it makes me think of Duisenbergs or Streamliners.

Very nice. The only thing I don’t completely respond to is the bits of 10 and minutes track left on the moon phase cutout: it looks a bit weird to me, even if I understand the intention. Anyway, as others have said, it’s a piece we should see more often. ... 

I think it is because the dial was literally cut open for the Moonphase.

I can very well understand the enthusiasm for the GO "Karree Handaufzug Auf und Ab"! I've been wearing it for almost exactly 15 years, alternating with my other GO models, especially the PanoReserve - or, for the last 2 years, also with the Rolex Submarin...  

Always loved these Karree models!
