Yeah, I debate that one a lot. I usually cave at around the 5-year mark. What I worry about most is gasket condition and water resistance.

That's where I am with the Cosmopolite. (One of the first, if not the first, in the US, according to the boutique at the time of purchase.) In this case, the watch has been running somewhat slow for a while, so there seems to be some point.

What is the model number or the reference? My initial search isn't finding it immediately. What do the airport indicators do? I travel internationally nonstop, and I'm a Glashütte fan, and I don't know this watch...

I just spent the last hour obsessing over this watch online. This just went way up my Want List. Need to go to an AD and try it on. I want to see the black version too. Super cool. Thank you. Great overview btw.

I think the big issue for most people will be how it wears on the wrist. It's big (44mm), tall (ca. 16mm), and slab-sided, so many have found it just too large for stainless steel/white dial version is my favorite of the lot, though the blue dial might w...

Been >5 years since purchase, and it’s started to lose a few minutes per day. I figure it’s a good time to get it adjusted and checked for water resistance.
