You said it well Yan …
It’s the reason I keep harping on about these neo-vintage Laureatos to the guys that only have eyes for the current production pieces.
I find them so appealing and this is from a guy that also has the modern laureatos in a variety of sizes. ☺️
You will be pleased to know that the 8010 gold center links are solid.
I agree with you as well about the Evo3. I didn’t fully appreciate the case and bracelet design until I got the ref 80188 (42.6 mm case diameter) quartz. And now I realize how well it wears.
Do you think you will ever add a laureato 8010 to your collection? Those that love the royal oak 5402 or 15202 would likely love the 8010 as well. IMHO.

Thanks Jesse

Before I tried japanese food I was like WTF … raw fish? No way. I tried it … meh. Second time I tried it … hmm not terrible. And soon, I loved it. Same for 2-tone for me. Was all steel for me in the past. AP or GP etc. all quite similar. All the same size...

Wonderful thing about the watch world is the diversity of personal taste & style that makes it so interesting. I’ve owned two modern Laureato’s, black ceramic and Titanium/rose two tone (don’t anymore), but still prefer these and the Evo 3. There’s just s...
8010

If I was presented the opportunity for one in great condition like yours, It’d take a lot of restraint not to jump on it! But I do already have an Evo 3 and unlike you with multiples of a subset within a collection, I’m inclined toward a 1966, maybe a dua...
GP

Thanks, amanico. Good to get perspective from fellow aficionado’s. I’ve had a high regard for GP for over 30 years despite them not enjoying the attention some other brands receive, although I kind of like that they fly under most peoples radar. They hold...
Openwork
By: yankbrit : July 14th, 2024-18:21
Yeah, that’s awfully pretty! Like it in the Laureato too, earth to sky but especially the rose gold version. I don’t know why but open-worked also seem to hold more stable pricing than some of the high complications, perpetual calendar, equation of time e...
