Girard Perregaux

Here is the last creation born from the partnership between Girard Perregaux and Aston Martin. The special detail here? The case, which is an alloy of titanium and carbon taken from two 2021 F1 cars. The strap too is a blend of rubber and carbon! The case...  

The small movement is evident in the (too) central date placement.

And you know how much I love Astons . The case here is truly excellent, both innovative and attractive in design. Everything else is mostly average, and especially at that price point. I would MUCH rather spend that exact amount of money on the impeccable... 

... the positive side is the dial design language created for the smaller, more 'civilian' Laureato Chronograph in steel, which deserved to receive quite good feedback in my opinion. The transfer to the Absolute line and usage of carbon / Ti from a F1 car...
