But music was not bad at all, at least for my taste. There were plenty of great albums from Black Sabbath (with Ian Gillan and DIO), Michael Schenker, Iron Maiden, The Cult, AC/DC (Back in Black & For Those About To Rock), Whitesnake, The Cure, Duran Dura...  

we all went through it. Only thing for me, the rising of (good, underground) electronic music in the 90ies made me change my tastes, but now discovering the roots, the funk and soul of the 80ies. Great stuff. Glad you enjoyed. The blue dial is not for eve...

Why, was that your car? I understand the mixed feelings about the 7000 Chrono, it took me a long time to even consider one for myself, but there is some hidden beauty in them that take time to grown on you and appreciate, but yeah, not an essential must-h... 

Great post and very much up my street as I was growing up in the 80s. Like the black / grey dial one a bit more personally. Wonder what other underrated 80s watches are out there...
