Was at my AD today and together we looked at the Esmeralda in comparison with the original pocket watch. It is amazing! It is a phenomenal piece with such attention to detail. It truly overshadows the other triple bridge release
The hunger grows. I must see this watch In the metal.
Do you have a picture of the back? Have not seen one.
Any word on projected production numbers? My info is that it is not limited edition but limited production.
Of note, on the other triple bridge released I am told that it has windows in the case at 12 and 6 to let in light in order to provide a lighted background to the movement. Does it? It would seem that it wouldn't add much to the piece.

how much better, how much more "wow" this watch has in real. A true show piece / master piece. I personally think, 44mm is a bit too much, so I continue to keep my dreams focused on the smaller 3GBT, preferably in white gold. CC
Indeed, I can only imagine the wow factor seeing this in the metal.
I, for one, love larger case sizes and think it would sit nicely on the wrist at 44mm. It's more of a feat to create something smaller. However, 44mm is a nice dimension for many too.
In this case I don't think 44 mm is too big!

It is always the same feeling with the GP Tourbillon 3 GB.
The recto is more appealing than the verso, but there is indeed a reason behind that. And I can happily live with that. What a watch! Best, Nicolas

It would be cool if there was engraving I the watch case and the back to further honor the Esmeralda pocket watch.
On the original La Esmeralda the bridges are on the back...
And now the "dial side" has become the back of the watch. The artwork on the original is hard to match, a true master piece! Best Blomman ...
