I understand the mixed feelings about the 7000 Chrono, it took me a long time to even consider one for myself, but there is some hidden beauty in them that take time to grown on you and appreciate, but yeah, not an essential must-have, for completeness of a collection though very much needed.

But music was not bad at all, at least for my taste. There were plenty of great albums from Black Sabbath (with Ian Gillan and DIO), Michael Schenker, Iron Maiden, The Cult, AC/DC (Back in Black & For Those About To Rock), Whitesnake, The Cure, Duran Dura...
