The "Elevensies" are any better?
I thought the 80s aesthetic was pretty trendy at the moment. Skinny jeans, neon clothing etc. Admittedly it's adapted but looking at Katy Perry or Nikki Minaj is like the 80s on acid. Let's not forget AP have yellow gold versions of almost the entire Royal Oak line. And it wasn't long ago Patek released a 2 tone 5980. If that doesn't say 80s then I'm not sure what does. The only missing ingredient is widespread use of cocaine

But music was not bad at all, at least for my taste. There were plenty of great albums from Black Sabbath (with Ian Gillan and DIO), Michael Schenker, Iron Maiden, The Cult, AC/DC (Back in Black & For Those About To Rock), Whitesnake, The Cure, Duran Dura...
