That doesn’t sound right

The foudroyante hand should not move when the main chrono Hand stops. Also, it does not have its own escapement. (Such as the El Primero Defy 21)

Seems like yours need to be serviced too!

There are two main barrels one to power the foudroyante and one to power the watch?

 By: Light15 : August 23rd, 2019-05:56
If you do not wind the watch at the crown, will the power reserve for the foudroyante run down? Or does the crown and the hand movement power both barrels?

Mine in white gold and leaf hands say hi!

It is certainly not as robust as some other chronos but then it is not like other chronos! Mine is on its way to the spa in Switzerland for a service and it had stopped working properly. Old photo.

Still waiting for a quote

Hi, The foudroyante hand is running out of sync..... it doesn’t “spin” at a consistent rate of 1/8 of a second. And sometime the chrono stops on its own after a while. These symptoms developed over time and it is high time for a service. I spoke with the ...

appreciate your insight....

 By: Light15 : August 25th, 2019-07:44
Okay. I spoke to UK GP and this model is so complicated it is Geneva for service. Sounds like one has to live with the watch being alive and fragile, until there is a point at which a service becomes essential. I bought the watch with a few problems, but ...

True....I wondered since the basis numbers on the watch are so good...if someone asked for the foudroyante to be switched to operating when the chronograph not on at their own service?

 By: Light15 : August 26th, 2019-10:33
With your foudroyante, does it reset along with the chronograph second and minute counter hands? Is this movement a vertical clutch or a horizontal clutch? I would suspect horizontal, because 7750 base?

All fixed.

 By: Light15 : September 19th, 2019-04:21
My watchmaker (who specialised in Omega and Zenith) fixed the flying seconds to link with the chronograph/rattrapante, without needing parts. Pure joy

Here is the video I posted on YOUTUBE. Enjoy.
