Thanks Jesse
Before I tried japanese food I was like WTF … raw fish? No way.
I tried it … meh.
Second time I tried it … hmm not terrible.
And soon, I loved it.
Same for 2-tone for me.
Was all steel for me in the past. AP or GP etc. all quite similar. All the same size. Etc
I started getting bored.
I now love 2-tone. As long as it doesn’t look too “feminine”. Pink gold is good and steel for me is the best mix.
But I still love all steel too.
When i wear 2-tone, it’s makes life more interesting. I feel “Italian” … 😄 some flare. You know like wearing a purple tie on a pink shirt with a suit?
That feeling.
Even blue dials have become boring for me. I have many
And it’s ok but all blue … zzzz
Hope that answers your question. It a matter of growing and appreciating different styles. I’m 54 … life has become much more interesting as I’ve started doing things I had always pigeonholed to be this or that.
🤝
Thanks Jesse

If I was presented the opportunity for one in great condition like yours, It’d take a lot of restraint not to jump on it! But I do already have an Evo 3 and unlike you with multiples of a subset within a collection, I’m inclined toward a 1966, maybe a dua...
GP
By: yankbrit : July 12th, 2024-12:42
Thanks, amanico. Good to get perspective from fellow aficionado’s. I’ve had a high regard for GP for over 30 years despite them not enjoying the attention some other brands receive, although I kind of like that they fly under most peoples radar. They hold...
Openwork
By: yankbrit : July 14th, 2024-18:21
Yeah, that’s awfully pretty! Like it in the Laureato too, earth to sky but especially the rose gold version. I don’t know why but open-worked also seem to hold more stable pricing than some of the high complications, perpetual calendar, equation of time e...
