Thank you Mr Green

and of course, you had to pick the green one. Trouble is, that is a piece unique, so not an easy achievement wink
There was however a 49800 Chronograph with pink gold case that also had a green 24h ring, not limited. Perhaps a more achievable alternative.

A detailed look at the Girard-Perregaux World Timers ww.tc

 By: crown comfort : July 2nd, 2017-23:07
The fascination of World Timers World Time clocks and watches are something fascinating to me. I like the way they show us the time zones around the globe and I find it very practical to just check the time in Tokyo or Los Angeles with one look. Producing...

Dear CC what an astonishing post

Kudos my friend Truly enjoyable read As for GP and 1. There is a fountain of inspiration in that area so many nice versions in the end I would go after one that padj has..seconds only 2. I like "first" series of by GP best 3. That Harrison is made for y...

I bought my WW TC in white gold in 2002 and loved it. I still wonder why I sold it in 2005. Maybe because I started to see too many different LE, variations... But I still love the combination of a world time and a chronograph. Some years later, in 2009, ...

Thanks Nicolas for the inputs

indeed the John Harrison is a dream and I ind the enamel map even more interesting than the 5 versions with 3GB Tourbillon. The Toubillon would be awesome, but if 3GB Tourbillon i would opt to see it on the dial. A Chronograph in the 1966 Why not, as lon...

I do miss mine but then I made a conscious choice to go for the FTC and as mentioned, I did struggle with the larger crown at 9. Best, CC

Thank you for this review, CC.

A local shop has this "two tone" for sale. I've never seen this version before. White gold case with rose gold crowns and push buttons. I'm wondering whether you or blomman have any idea? ...

Thanks Luis, my pleasure

 By: crown comfort : July 3rd, 2017-01:06
that mixed colour is odd and I have not seen that anywhere before. Perhaps a special custom request? Would be interesting to see what it says on the case back. CC

It doesn't say anything special on the case back.

I don't have much knowledge about GP but through this post I discovered much references I did not know before, especially the oldest ones. I have to admit that the late 2016 release is for me one of the best world timers, with its simplicity and elegance...

Thanks my friend for looking and

 By: crown comfort : July 3rd, 2017-04:02
you know with new releases, you should know its heritage and history, so that's what inspired the post! Best, CC

Many thanks CC for this very deep and truly interesting report. I discovered many things thanks to your shots.

Among all the WT GP timepieces, I think I would go for the Financial (grey dial without chrono) because there's a link with my job and... I really love this version. Then, I have to confess that I love the new 1966 too. It's really pure and classy. At t...

Thanks Alkiro, and yes the FTC is a must
