Silver dial Laureato after a nice clean

Jan 18, 2025,07:06 AM

This is the 41 mm not the 38 mm nor the 42mm

Interestingly, it is the same thickness as the 38 mm at 10 mm.

There are no holes on the case as the bracelet connects from within via spring bars.

Squeaky clean. Polished bezel gleaming.

Never noticed the polished bezel until now. A nice differentiator from the other models. Do you prefer the matching date wheel on this one as compared to on the blue dial model with the white date wheel?

Oh … I’ve talked about the polished bezel extensively

I had a scuff on the bezel and it took me 5 minutes to get it out with a quick buff. If it was the satin brushed bezel, it would have been much more complicated to get the scuff off. Circular graining and such. Yes, the polished bezel is a differentiator....

Also note that this is not the LE variant

It is the “Sports Chronograph” One can tell because it does Not say Olimpico on the case back and also no engraved individual number xxx/999 I read GP had some legal issue with the Olympic committee and possibly didn’t make the entire 999. The made some c...

No, laureato-olimpico ref 8017 was never made in titanium. What you are seeing is in steel but media blasted. It’s hard to refinish if scratches etc so one has to be cautious. 🤝
