One shot of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph in 38 and 42 mm side-by-side

Friends,

one comparison shot of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph in 38 and 42mm side by side.

Here we have the black dial with blue sub-dials, a very cool version I really like and that grows on me more and more.

Quite a significant size difference. For me, the 42mm works best. Almost a perfect "His and Her" watch pair. Xmas coming...hint hint wink

Best,

CC

You do have a point on the proportions when looking at the photo

but you will need to try and then choose. I was very excited when I learned that there will be a 38mm Chrono as I thought that will be perfect for me, but when I tried them, the 42mm was the one that won in all aspects.

I would also prefer the 38.

I really like the color combo, looks great.

Both look grest. Wrist test to settle.

The 38mm does look sweet. Bill

The 42mm is a "small" 42.

Like you said, CC, you have to try it on. I think the 42 is perfect, and appears smaller somehow, compared to the RO chronograph.

Very nice Duo shot !.. For myself I concur fully with prefs on 42mm; also I consider the 38mm somewhat too bully & bulky.. ;);)

.. For me it‘s also the proportions, which don‘t look convincing for a lady. The regular 42 with the blue counters I do like quite a bit ! Best, hs

Thanks HS. I think the 38mm could work with a Ladies wrist

you know you see a lot of Ladies nowadays wearing men's watches and 38mm is a good size.

Yes, the 42mm sits better on the wrist while....

The 38 looks more balanced. Hard choice, but I do know I prefer the all blue dial for sure! Best Blomman

Somehow, the dial on the 42mm...

has the right amount of breathing room. Both are beautiful.

interestingly, both have an identical movement, so the distance between the subcounter hands and the date is exactly the same. The subdials have different size so they managed to do this very well. Normally the smaller movement compared to the case (here ...
