one comparison shot of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato Chronograph in 38 and 42mm side by side.
Here we have the black dial with blue sub-dials, a very cool version I really like and that grows on me more and more.
Quite a significant size difference. For me, the 42mm works best. Almost a perfect "His and Her" watch pair. Xmas coming...hint hint

but you will need to try and then choose. I was very excited when I learned that there will be a 38mm Chrono as I thought that will be perfect for me, but when I tried them, the 42mm was the one that won in all aspects.
The 42mm is a "small" 42.

Like you said, CC, you have to try it on. I think the 42 is perfect, and appears smaller somehow, compared to the RO chronograph.

interestingly, both have an identical movement, so the distance between the subcounter hands and the date is exactly the same. The subdials have different size so they managed to do this very well. Normally the smaller movement compared to the case (here ...
