Nico completely infected me with his last post about this new model to celebrate the 230th birthday of Girard-Perregaux. Now I can't get this watch out of my head ...
I MUST have a look at a Three Bridges Neo Tourbillon to see it in the flesh.
My only hope is that this completely transparent construction doesn’t look good on a hairy wrist. Otherwise I am lost…
Case: 44mm x 15.52mm; 18k rose gold case, polished and brushed finishing, boxed sapphire crystal front and back; 30m water resistance
Movement: GP09400-1273 self-winding movement with tourbillon, hours, minutes and small seconds with a 60-hour power reserve. Micro-rotor under the barrel. Seconds indicated via one-minute tourbillon
Dial: openworked dial with skeletonized Dauphine hands; solid gold bridges with black PVD coating on front; titanium bridges with black PVD coating on back. Super-LumiNova on the hands
Or better this one? It‘s perhaps less spectacular lying on a dark table but better looking on the wrist?
What’s your opinion?
P.S.: I hope I find good reasons to turn away from these kind of watches again. They are in a price range that I have not yet advanced into. And until now I have always kept away from such pieces of art, also for reasons of reason and staying down to earth. But this model (especially the first transparent one) no longer gives me peace ...
