My keeper

Oct 12, 2020,00:29 AM

This particular GP model appears in this forum from time to time.

This watch was sold in 2004, I bought it pre-owned 10 years ago, it hasn’t been serviced yet, to my surprise given its complication, it is still running strong.

Have owned watches that I thought were my favourites, eventually sold without a bit of regret. Every time I take this out and would rediscover once again why I love this one and why I’m not wearing Apple Watch.

Definitely a keeper for me.

Good story. Buying watches you thought it was the best, and sold because you do not feel anything. Buying watches you had questions, turned out be favorites. I had it with Seiko. Thought is was the best, and become a bad watch experience. All disappointin...

I share your passion for that Rattrapante Foudroyante, my friend. One day, I will get one.

This is GP at its best. No date, cool complication, killer dial and just all around perfect. Love it. Darren

Vintage excluded? :))) [nt]

I’m not sure I ever thought to ask or investigate... did GP make the movement or does it belong to someone else?

When I was working in the watch industry around 2002 2003 ... a special customer order came through

 By: Explorertwo : October 13th, 2020-01:09
Theses two were ordered and what was special was the case backs had the serial number / number of the Ferrari the owner had ... obviously two ferraris. They were truely sublime ... although the movements were hidden. These are the only pictures I have of ...
