Laureato Olimpico 8017 — Print archives 1996
Hi Friends,
Each weekend, I try to find some time to search through archives. Mostly only GP & Minerva but other brands too. Often these are from the early 1990's so only print magazines, newspapers and press releases at that time. Even the old forums like Purists and Timezone were not yet up.

And here is a full page one taken out by GP on the Laureato Olimpico Chronograph ref 8017 when it was first launched. LE 999 pieces only.
And the ivory dial.
Neo-Vintage is so interesting to me. Some crazy gems that some people have forgotten but they are out there .... they were crazy expensive in 1996 too.

It’s been interesting to research this stuff.
Not easy to piece together face from conjecture so best to look to the source for truth. So far not much luck on the laureato 8010. If you find any archives, do share. Thanks 🙏🏻
