In with the old, out with the old
For the in part I am wearing my vintage Girard-Perregaux this week. (I know, the date is not correct)
Out with the old being our kitchen.
We are 3 days into a complete wall to wall, floor to ceiling kitchen tear out and remodel.
All of the cabinets are out, the floor is up.(it was wood), water damage to the subfloor is repaired,
all new underlayment is going in today. It will go in the kitchen, dining room. half-bath and laundry room
and all new flooring will eventually be installed. Being how this is a short week cabinets probably
won't start going in until after Thanksgiving. We were told that all in all it will be about a 4 week
project. There is still some drywall work yet to be done (I just love the dust 
Can't really cook
Can't really cook as we have no way to wash dishes, cups and glasses can be done in a bathroom sink,
pots and pans not so much so it is paper plates and carry out for us for the next few weeks.
Probably PB&J for Thanksgiving, but it will be a memorable one.
The torn up floor is from the first day, it is all up now except for the laundry room.
A couple pieces of heavy furniture are in the picture, they are working around them
and moving them as they need to.

We just completed some maintenance work to the house and it was like living in an active construction site, the good thing is it isn't forever, hang in there.
Yes, buy the time it is done I will definitely be
tired of living in a construction site and a good top to bottom will be needed, We covered what we could but it really dosen't help much the dust seems to find its way in to everything. I think most of the cutting and drywall work is nearly complete.
