GP 9034 GK Inherited From My Late Father

Apr 16, 2019,08:53 AM

My father passed away last year, but my mother just came across this watch and passed it on to me.  I've been searching around trying to find more info on this particular variant, but have not found this exact version. This version has 9034 GK stamped on the back of the watch case.  It is a manual wind watch, and appears to still be working, as I tested it out briefly yesterday. In case the pictures are hard to see clearly, the watch has a gold-tone face with a red hour hand and white minute hand. The watch buckle has "GP" on the outer side, and "PLAQUE G10" stamped on the inner side of the watch buckle.  If anyone else has any info to share, it would be greatly appreciated, as my father purchased this watch back in 1970, but I know little else about it.

get what the color red in the hour "holes" does? Do the "holes" fill with red upon completion of the hour or something completely different??

If you search for info on the 9034C...

You will find many threads on its ‘relatives’. Never seen this exact one but as the dials were hand painted this is possibly not surprising. Maybe a PM to Crown Comfort or Blomman will yield more info 😊

Beautiful

I collect the hand painted Perregaux dials and I have never seen this one before. This is terrific. It is rare to see the original Perregaux racing band with GP buckle.
