Scalpers already taking action !

 By: T.S. : March 17th, 2022-07:31
I have read in this forum that many of you enjoyed the new release of GP, well scalpers did enjoy it as well ! I sincerly hope no purist will buy from the secondary market so soon. I do understand on the other hand the confidence it gives to true owners a...

What watch value....

 By: sc16 : March 17th, 2022-07:52
There is no watch value.... you can nowadays slap on any price you want, if that makes you happy. Nothing to do with supply and demand anymore

Bulova

In case anyone has FOMO, I would recommend Bulova Computron released some time back which is basically same concept with same history. wornandwound.com I really like this recent edition with open case.

Hamilton's PSR MTX is a great alternative too imho

 By: enjoythemusic : March 17th, 2022-11:37
Plus the innovative two-type display means you do not need to press any buttons to see it during the day/light. i just hope GP can update their firmware for the 'three-second rule' for the display. There's been complaints of the very, very short display t...

Very tue, thankfully.

The Hamilton dual display is amazing! Have you seen it? Works really great and the battery has a very good lifespan too.

very cool "always on" concept and priced right

 By: christianch : March 17th, 2022-20:43
the matrix is also very cool but the casquette design is more unique I feel

as an owner of Casquette I think it is very high Swiss quality not familiar with the Bulova but

 By: christianch : March 17th, 2022-12:26
I would be surprised to know that the make it in Switzerland with a lower price.

Not sure where the Bulova is made...

 By: enjoythemusic : March 17th, 2022-23:35
Yet for a few hundred on rubber strap it is different. Love the lume and hoping to get the limited edition version when they release it. Very different from the GP for sure, yet equally as much fun. 👍 ...

very cool, I don't see it anymore in the bulova website and the pricing is great

 By: christianch : March 18th, 2022-10:39
perhaps is sold out ? all these watches are cool but I have to admit the button pressing is getting a bit tiring (one day usage so far)

If you dislike having to ALWAYS press a button for the time, then please allow me to suggest the Hamilton PSR.

 By: enjoythemusic : March 18th, 2022-12:33
The Bulova has two versions, but yes you have to always press the button like the GP. Getting back to Bulova, one version is for sale now so you can buy it for just a few hundred dollars. The other version, as seen above in pics, is coming up for sale in ...

I did not try it on. Just not into quartz watches anymore (except g-shocks)....

 By: @lberti : March 17th, 2022-21:07
i get it though. the watch is cool and looks cool, but not for me.

I understand, it is really not for everyone

 By: christianch : March 17th, 2022-23:05
the time is shown for only 2 seconds so it might be annoying in the long time

Great watch. But these practice of scalping and huge mark-up pricing

 By: hoseachandra : March 17th, 2022-11:21
Make me sick. Especially when i see Rolex pricing on secondary market. Even the GP Laureato which i happen to like so much, is getting ridiculous with the grey market price. A steel 42 mm Laureato chronograph non limited edition now fetch USD 24K, whereas...

Greed destroys many things. Often also the joy.

 By: MTR : March 17th, 2022-13:50
It really makes me tired. The only chance for us consumers is to completely ignore these speculators. But unfortunately we would all have to act as one. And just one of us backing down and buying at that price is enough reassurance for this type of trader...

Very well said.

I understand

 By: Weems@8 : March 17th, 2022-14:26
why a Hulk is pricy. I understand why a steel Nautilus cost a tourbillon from another brand, but a lcd GP where you must push a button to see some red dots or stripes is not a watch for me, but a mistake. A watch have hands, or rotating discs that move to...

aww my poor casquette 2.0 doesn't feel like a mistake 🤔💥

 By: christianch : March 18th, 2022-22:33
I frankly don't understand why a Hulk is so pricey, beside a strong supply and demand imbalance. Regarding a steel Nautilus costing so much now there is no reason beside the case and the bracelet. The movement of the nautilus 324 S C was shared among entr...

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! It's probably is not selling so well. So the very high grey price...

It is a TRICK manufacturers use. We know PP and others do this a lot at auctions.

LOL 🤣👍🎉

ROFL!

 By: amanico : March 18th, 2022-18:35

Excellent!! ☺️

Good point!

 By: MTR : March 18th, 2022-20:02

Price cut by half ! huge opportunity !! :)

 By: T.S. : March 30th, 2022-12:01
I had to follow up on that one... so amusing but scary at the same time... Definetely a lesson learned here: do not FOMO in !! ...

Well it has been six weeks since this thread was posted

 By: sham1 : May 7th, 2022-06:37
and the prices in the after market has fallen by 70 percent, still making the watch priced from about a 45 percent premium. I like this watch and when I first tried it on, I told the group of collectos I was with that I would be happy to pay double for it...

I just saw the watch all over the internet for like 7k which is about 45 percent more as you said

 By: Motty : May 8th, 2022-13:27
I do think if you love love it then go for it, although I’m not a big fan of paying above msrp, but 1 the market is crazy, 2 if the price doesn’t make a difference you should tell it in your head that this is market price and as if you bought it in the st...

Thank you for your support! :-)

Tomorrow is the day and I can't wait to hopefully get it at maybe at an even reduced price! The Omega boutique had called me to say that they had three CK 859s available but as much as the Omega is a good manual wiinding watch, for me personally, it has b...

Yes as much as there are some beautiful watches, it became very round and square what everyone needs to collect

 By: Motty : May 8th, 2022-17:27
I try to be outside the box and not follow anyone, that’s part of the reason why I love so much GP

Kudos to you

 By: sham1 : May 9th, 2022-00:52
for thinking outside the circle! You are in the same boat as Max Busser

Me too!

 By: sham1 : May 10th, 2022-00:14
but I was not allocated one :-(

I will not be getting one unfortunately

 By: sham1 : May 10th, 2022-04:54
perhaps the next time around when they re issue the watch.

I do understand the premium one like me has to pay when it comes to pieces limited to the public

 By: T.S. : May 18th, 2022-11:36
But scalpers and AD's have been playing a vicious game and now with the upcoming economical turmoil we should see some correction in this crazy market. There could be some good deals to be made if you are patient enough and you should be able to acuire th...

Thank you for your feedback!

 By: sham1 : May 18th, 2022-11:51
I decided not to buy this paritcular Casquette after inspecting it carefully because even though it was brand new, the instruction booklet had nothing to do with the watch! Instead I have opted for this! No premium involved! ...

Very elegant and original !

 By: T.S. : May 18th, 2022-17:33
Enjoy it ! Especialy with no premium, it feels better on the wrist

Thank you!

 By: sham1 : May 19th, 2022-00:23

OH GOD!

 By: Motty : May 19th, 2022-22:32

Thank you!

 By: sham1 : May 20th, 2022-01:28
