Girard Perregaux Vintage 45 Chronograph Ref 2599, Steel.

An old picture to share with you. A marvel, and one of these rare watches to have a rectangular chronograph movement, fully in house. 

For those who fear that it is too small, here is the evidence it is not, on my 17 cm wrist. 

And an old companion, as I will celebrate its 8th birthday in a few months!

One of my favorites, the XXL 25845-52-741-BA6A… I feel it gets the asymmetry just right. Would I get tired of wondering whether it is 4:00 or 5:00? or 4:23, or 5:26. If so, then I should be ashamed of myself! Sadly, I won't be in Paris to take the two of ...
