it was time to take out one of the GPs that was my first love of the brand in 1997, the Girard-Perregaux Richeville Chronograph 2750.
Still looks fresh in my book and especially in summer I love wearing it.

That's true, if you look at 90s cars,
they look really old today, but then watches from the 80s did not do much better...

White Gold with Black dial? Was it a 2750 with the automatic movement and triangular pushers? I have seen only 2 solid gold 2750 and both were yellow or rose gold. I have also maybe seen 3 white gold one 2710 (Manual Wind) but they all had a silver dial. ...
Good to hear you had a Richeville as well. The Gold/Steel versions were very nice
just the mixed metal has gone a bit out of fashion.
