Girard Perregaux Laureato Tourbillon with Spinel Bridges.

Oct 30, 2017,11:22 AM

As we are talking a lot of the Laureato, these last months, let me remind you which is for me one of the finest version.

We are in 2012, at the SIHH, and I saw that:

Girard Perregaux created a " funky horological " masterpiece. One of my very favorite Tourbillon with bridges from Girard Perregaux. The blue of the spinel gives another dimension to that watch.

Its decoration, too.

We are not far from perfection from the " Maison Bleue ".

Best,

Nicolas

Just because they could do it! The best type of horological exuberance. I had many dreams about this one and the 1st generation one back in the spring when I discovered them.

A dream watch!

A very modern execution of a GP watch with bridges, which still looks fresh and modern even next to the more recently released Neo Bridges.

Wow, is that in rose gold? [nt]

more perky gorgeous than the constant escapement

This 2nd shot has been haunting me for a while already !.. What an audacious, yet balanced design - a bit exuberant but classy..

.. and I would guess ( never seen it in real ) also ambitious, but just with the right abount of " J'ai ne sais quoi", exhibiting a real spell ! Far out of my reach, but nice to do some picture dreaming.. Best, hs

Great!

I don't miss my daily read of PuristSPro and I'm sorry I very rarely have time to contribute. But I absolutely had to express my enthusiasm for this exceptional Laureato! :-D Ciao, Elio
