Exactly. The case should be engraved as in the original along the edges. Also the movement plate should have some engraving nod to the design as well. Just my opinion. [nt]

how much better, how much more "wow" this watch has in real. A true show piece / master piece. I personally think, 44mm is a bit too much, so I continue to keep my dreams focused on the smaller 3GBT, preferably in white gold. CC
Indeed, I can only imagine the wow factor seeing this in the metal.
I, for one, love larger case sizes and think it would sit nicely on the wrist at 44mm. It's more of a feat to create something smaller. However, 44mm is a nice dimension for many too.
In this case I don't think 44 mm is too big!

Was at my AD today and together we looked at the Esmeralda in comparison with the original pocket watch. It is amazing! It is a phenomenal piece with such attention to detail. It truly overshadows the other triple bridge release

It is always the same feeling with the GP Tourbillon 3 GB.
The recto is more appealing than the verso, but there is indeed a reason behind that. And I can happily live with that. What a watch! Best, Nicolas

On the original La Esmeralda the bridges are on the back...
