Am curious, how is the rate accuracy like with those movement?

 By: MichaelC : November 3rd, 2020-05:27
You know in my many years of collecting, I have only had a few pieces by any brand that operate outside of 6-7 seconds / day +/-. This GP runs around 1-2 seconds, just about dead on. Another trait which makes it a delight to own.

Wow, i was not expecting that. I have no experience with GP but from what I could find from watch review I was under the impression their rate accuracy was ...

... just average to be honest which draw me away from that brand. I think this watch in all black with the blue dial is simply spectacular and I have been wanting such a look in my collection. I will try to find a competent AD to help ! Thanks Micheal

Thank you, the openworking gives it that "machine" feel.

Thinking, is there a titanium or stainless steel case version available?

There is a steel version

I wanted to try on the black ceramic and steel one more time and compare them, along with my partner. Made a date with the AD for mid - November but unfortunately a month of lockdown in England now. So will have to wait! BW, Chi Kai

Keep me informed

If you can’t go to your AD, maybe they can send watches.

I don't think titanium (yet), steel for sure.

This morning i investigate GP

 By: Weems@8 : November 3rd, 2020-08:17
Hey Michael, See title, i investigate GP. Models Laureate, 1966, World timer, and some others. At chrono24, the internet. Your Earth to sky is a ceramic case Laureato with the blued skeleton movement. Said this, i am also interested in your Laureato. The ...

Stunning watch

And great photos as always! BW, Chi Kai

Thank you friend, I hope you get to make your comparison soon enough.

I can imagine other variations that would be stunning. Perhaps some rose gold and black ceramic together? Maybe even with gold links in the black ceramic bracelet? Bring it, GP!

Rose gold and Black would be a killer combo!

I hope GP expands this line. Modern skeleton with a more “baroque” colour combination. BW, Chi Kai

I bought mine sight unseen. I had never seen one line.

That made for added enjoyment when I cracked the box lid

One of my most exciting pieces on the wrist.

Only topped by The Freak for that quality.

I agree Sir :-) [nt]
