The 6557 is not the only one with these trades among the vintage Girard-Perregaux Chronograph's.
Here is a trio for you: ref 8862, ref 8846 and ref 6557!
Three very similar but with different characters...
I really like the warmer touch the YG/RG hands and indexes adds on the 8862 and 6557!

but if I had to choose, then I still feel the deepest love for the 8846 Olimpico.
Amazing trio of chronos.
Since I am not a great fan of flat bezels I have a preference for the 8846 in the middle, which has also those noce round pushers. However regarding the hands the Alpha ones of the 8846 on the left are the coolest imo. Best.
Then the 8846 is the right one to go for!

From dial, crown and pusher are just perfect. Enjoy them with good health
Subtle variations on the two Olimpicos.
It makes for very different watches. I should add I like the 8846 more than the 8846.
