Your thoughts please on the Girard Perregaux Vintage 1945 XXL (Large Date & Moonphase)

It's been a long time since I last posted.

Though I do access and read the posts on the various forums from time to time.

But on this occasion, I would specifically like to pick the brains from the members regarding this Manufacturer and especially the Vintage 1945 XXL range.

Over the past 45 years I have had the pleasure and honour to own and wear timepieces from many different Manufacturers.

But I have never owned or even tried one on from this Manufacturer.

Please help to educate me, as I know very little about their watches, designs, movements etc.

I am particularly interested in their Vintage 1945 XXL with oversized date and moonface complications.

As with all threads photographs are most welcome.

That's gorgeous, I don't usually, like Skeleton watches, but that is beautiful. How come you don't wear it so much now? I am looking at the older model but in Rose Gold.

The only dial which works very well with this huge case is this one.

With the other dials, the case is too big for my taste. With these open dials, strangely the case is not too big. Best, Nicolas ...
