New model 2017: Girard-Perregaux Laureato Flying Tourbillon Skeleton

By: blomman Mr Blue : November 6th, 2017-14:10
Friends, This yearโ€™s surprises are not over from the Blue House on the Hill in La Chaux de Fonds! Earlier this year we saw the birth of the Laureato Skeletonโ€ฆ Now, here is the Laureato Flying Tourbillon Skeleton! Same-same but different? No. Same-same BUT...

The tourbillon cage looks really nice and beautifully finished.

Blue house didn't disappoint once more! Thanks for the info my friend Cheers D

Indeed, no disapointment from the Blue Hous on the hill! :)

Looks fantastic! Bet it looks even better in real! Best Blomman

I think that everyone was expecting this release and I must say that GP did a great job. Personally I like this better than the RO skeleton tourbillon, here the dial seems to be more intriguing and the flying tourbillon is put in a very unusual position.

I think that people will deserve sometime to get used to the strange position of the tourbillon on the dial. The brand's signature is beautifully integrated below on the dial. What to say? Really beautiful watch, even if I prefer it with a leather strap. ...

Yes, a bit unusual but still very GP!

Now its clear, Girard-Perregaux reintroduce the Laureato not only on "entry level"! Let's hope you are right and we will see a PC version in the future. Thank you for your feedback, PP. Best Blomman

I rally hope to see it.

The slightly tilted โ€œ8โ€ drawn by the mainspring and the tourbillon is particularly nice and well thought out for me

The skeletonised dial is really beautiful too as it looks like to the different latitudes of a globe. Thank you for this post. Best wishes Alkiro

I was also thinking about a "Globe".

the Tourbillon in action on a skeleton dial is just mind-blowing. I also applaud the fact that the watch is also available in White Gold. In recent years, most Tourbillon options had only pink gold as precious metal, and I think the white will look really...

The White Gold version show an entire different character than the Pink Gold, IMO.

More technical... But with finesse! Best Blomman

+1! [nt]

A beautiful evolution of the Laureato Skeleton. Very GP despite other brands having similar models. Time to save! On a side note, does anyone need a kidney? I have a spare going! ๐Ÿ˜† BW, Chi Kai

No, but I have one kidney for sale! ;)

A very interesting development of the Laureato line. It will be very exciting to see where this evolution will take us! Best Blomman

Very interesting offer. While my preference naturally goes to the bridge(s), this flying tourbillion is flying... High.

To be seen in the flesh, but my first feelings are positive. As you said, this kind of tourbillon doesn't make a hole in the dial. Well done, GP.

I saw the collection at Salon QP

I must say any doubts I had disappeared quickly, my initial reservations were regarding the amount of text on the dual but it isn't an issue in the metal, really nice collection, the skeleton and ceramic were there. I think they might do a GMT and chronog...

Thank you for the confirmation, ifraher!
