I was pleasantly surprised, by how much I liked this watch, as u can tell by my post. It just had all the right parts and so far the perfofmance is outstanding. I agree it is a tremendous value.

GP vintage 1960 chrono
I'd like to write a short review on my new/old GP vintage 1960 chrono. I have had a watch for three weeks and : Size - 38 mm and because of cushion shape of the case, it wears more like 39-40mm. Perfect for my just under 7 inch wrist. Hugs my wrist nicely...
Solid case back, modular movement, delicious dial, squperbly shaped case...
There are indeed many reasons to love this Chrono. And I love it. I may well try to find one for me, this is something I have in mind for a while... The only small reserve I have it that I find it a bit too thick, BUT this is something I could easily live...

This model is definately on the thicker side, apprx. 14 mm and heavy, but because of the mild curve in the lugs, it sits on the wrist pretty well. This Top heavy watch will in no way substitute your stollen Dato, but might feel similar on the wrist. Thx. ...
I also owned a Vintage 45 Chrono, the small size ( 1999 )

Congrats on the purchase! I think the dial and the case are very attractive. Girard-Perregaux offers great value for today's collector, and their watches are almost always handsome and beautifully crafted. I'm definitely a fan of the brand. Great reading ...

I always lied this watch, but in the SS version. Wear in good health. It also looks very good in Rose gold. Best regards, George

A friend of mine has it in steel, and it's a great piece. Looks quite big on your wrist indeed, it certainly doesn't need to be any larger...
