GP Ceramic

I've had the solid dial version of the black ceramic Laureato for a short time now, and I'm absolutely loving it. It is extremely comfortable on the wrist and does take some getting used to as far as the lightness goes. The contrast of the polished and brushed surfaces looks incredible. Ceramic is an interesting material...for some reason, before getting this watch, I had it in my mind that ceramic would be very "robust". It is very resistant to scratches, but it is somewhat delicate in my mind now...I do worry a little bit about banging the watch....I think these very thin ceramic links for example would not take very well to a hard bang. That being said...I don't really bang my watches, so it's a non-issue, and the resistance to scratching is very nice to have.
One potential negative of the watch is that it is a real pain to size, with the pins and sleeves setup of the bracelet. GP may have very a good reason to use pins/sleeves with the ceramic, but it is very unpleasant to adjust. I would try to have a trusted watchmaker adjust the bracelet for you. (An online friend told me that the dealer who adjusted his bracelet actually broke, and thankfully replaced, some of his links.)
Once I got my bracelet sized, however, the watch has been an absolute joy on the wrist. Again, the finishing on the ceramic is incredible and the watch is extremely light and comfortable, with a beautiful movement that keeps great time.
