They way you describe the wines is always music to my ears. I wish I could have 1/10th of your eloquence in describing the flavors.
You really bring the flavors to our minds.
I had the please to meet Comte von Neipperg back in early 2000 and have two cases of La Mondotte from 2000.

I’m finding the 2004’s (your Ducru) and 2006’s are drinking well now. Some very lovely Burgundy’s. Wow to me this is like wearing a Lange on one wrist and a Patek on the other. Must have been a very enjoyable time. Thanks for sharing. Best,
