Will be in Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre in early July

With family; my wife and I were in Tuscany 20 years ago for our engagement and we did Florence, Venice, Milan, Cinque Terre, Lucia, Siena over 21 day period. We did a lot of hiking, museums and small meals as I was finishing grad school back then.

Fast forward 20 years and this is our first trip with the kids to Europe, 9, 13, 15 years old. It will be everyone’s first visit to Rome. We are mostly staying in AirBnBs.

Any restaurants or watch ADs to recommend 😀???. I see there are a lot of Patek ADs in Rome. Of course there is the original Panerai boutique in Florence, so I should stop by there, since Panerai was the first “serious” watch I purchased over 15 years ago!

There is a Lange boutique in Milan (my wife wants to take a day trip to Milan as well, so trying to justify flying there and taking a train down to La Spezia.)

I am not sure if Europeans know about Rick Steve’s travel guide, but that is the kind of travel we like to do.

Thanks in advance!!

Best,
Darron

And for sure wine!! Keep trying with kids and I guess it’s a good sign they don’t like it 🤷‍♂️.

May not be the same anymore, especially I heard some are only selling to local customers, maybe for hotter models. It also depends on brands and you can still get nice discounts and VAT refunds. Enjoy and share photos for us to drool.
