They often don’t think of saffron. However it is remarkably easy to grow. The saffron crocus is a perennial crocus bulb that blooms in autumn. Very little maintenance or care needed. The high cost of saffron is due to the fact that you can only get three strands per flower and they need to be harvested by hand.

What we get as a product is the dried one of course.

I’d like to hear your opinion about the difference between the dried and fresh ones, never had fresh saffron in my food before
