My fellow Purist friends, I’ve got an important (well to me at least important) announcement to make and you all are the first I’m sharing this with; But after almost 40 years of continuous smoking cigarettes I gave them up completely as per 1 January 201...

Congratulations Jurry ....

I think every time you have a weak moment you should post something on this site as it’s difficult to smoke and post a comment at the same time. Keep up the good work !

Bravo bravo bravo!!!!

I stopped smoking after 47 years of smoking. My daily consumption was over 2 packs of Marlboro per day. The reason of stopping was that the chief nurse in the intensive care department in a Greece hospital "confiscated" both my cigarettes and lighters on ...

Wow, what an interesting cause of quitting!

You owe her a watch!

She wasn't very helpful!

 By: dr.kol : February 17th, 2019-11:42
I just asked her to find a wheelchair and take me with my dips to the balcony for a smoke. But she checked my clothes and bags, took all the cigarettes and lighters informing me very loud: You have stopped smoking!". What could I do? I had to stay in the ...

I quit smoking on April 15, 2003 after more than 15 years of smoking cigarettes. I haven't relapsed since and my only regret was not quitting sooner. Welcome to one of the most important clubs you'll ever join: the former smoker's club

A huge congrats my friend

My dear friends, I’ve made it. Two full months without touching a cigarette. The non-smokers will probably shrug their shoulders but those who smoke or have smoked, know better. There were moments when it was difficult. But the support messages on this th...

Congratulations!

I know how hard this can be. I'm at 23 years but I still think about how it's so easy to start again. You should take the $7.00 every day and throw it into a jar. Then go buy a Rolex in a couple years!

Congratulations on this great achievement, Jurry!

Thanks for your support. Must say that slowly taste has improved and more natural skin color. I guess it takes a while to scrape 40 years worth of tar from the inside of my body

Very true my friend

Every day without smoking helps, and I hope you won't have to suffer from any late consequences. I was diagnosed COPD recently - without having smoked before. Marcus
