Karuizawa, Nagano-ken... it's a family restaurant. During the time I enjoyed my bowl of spicy 台湾麻婆豆腐 (Taiwan style mābōdōfu) plus a cold draft beer there were three different families that occupied the next booth in succession... I am a slow eater or youn...

not strict and I need protein in the diet so mābōdōfu is something I make quite often at home with tofu, tuna, and cabbage. Mostly wine or sake, but a cold draft beer is good once in awhile ; ) Casey

but I understand that recovery work is still underway. There was no major impact in the Karuizawa area, except for some isolated events.... fallen trees, collapsed hillsides, and river damage. The local Shinano Railway Line which operates between Karuizaw...
