Strawberries like apples!
This Spring we have been blessed with the largest, sweetest strawberries ever! OK, we do live in Southern California, and our state produces 90% of the berries harvested in the US. But this is an unusually great year.
We can't eat them fast enough, and we are astonished at the size!
Just on the table like apples and oranges! -- long-stemmed berries.

Breakfast of a torn-up croissant, grilled in a frying pan with butter and a little brown sugar, topped with berries
