Anchovies with shallots and bread πŸ˜‹


If you want an even more intense taste adding butter to the bread will do that but in the interest of being able to enjoy the anchovies for many years to come I resisted πŸ˜‚πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

These particular ones had a mellow flavor that really elevated them above most others I have tried. I love pairing them with fresh stracciatella di buffala and chilies but finding stracciatella here is neigh on impossible πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Is to pair it with fresh stracciatella cheese and chilies / dash of chili oil. Also works really well πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

You can certainly go lighter on the chili 😊

Finding stracciatella where I live is sadly almost impossible πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ But there is a shop about 90 minutes away in a neighboring county that on occasion has it 🀞🏻

I finish the can 700 grams every two weeks. No bread just pure with evoo. Never an other oils. Hard to find in evoo. ...
