Chateau Palmer, Margaux 2016 the best ever what about 1970 & 1966 two very strong years.

I agree you will not be disappointed even the off years. Talking about off years or "Adjacent" I some 1981 Petrus. Now that is pretty weird. Best Bill

Chateau Palmer is one of my favourite wines from Margaux and you're correct in saying they produce more than decent wines in light vintages.I recall my very first Palmer was a 1977,which was so perfumed albeit mid body and length that it surprised me ,as ... 

Very interesting to hear the Palmer 83 surpassed the 82. A great choice.
