i don’t want to call this forbidden fruit but you make a very good point about what is luxury and how easy it is to misinterpret the signsls. Breakfast in bed is a luxury ripe for any one to enjoy. A glass of wine with a friend or two is a luxurious life.... 

For me luxury is to have what you want when and where you want it. If it’s a glass of fresh pressed orange juice, so be it. If you are super thirsty and need some vitamin C, giving you a super top boat with all wooden designish interior will be pointless ...

Your Seiko chronograph is a very interesting piece. A watchmaker friend has one in bracelet with a nicely faded insert. It belongs to a client who never came back to retrieve it. Needless to say that although I try to push him to sale it to me every time ...
