Yes, It tasted excellent. The meat was tender and juicy at 40% cooked, the rim of mushroom was not too salty, finally the pastry crust was crispy and not separated from the steak :-)

I paired it with a Canadian ice wine. Beef usually should match with red, but I am particularly fond of sweet white :-)

MO like Mandarin Oriental? One of my favorite hotels, especially the one in HK. Sounds like you had a great time!

Yes, my friend. The Mandarin Oriental in Central HK. Haven't been there for decades. Enjoyed a candle light dinner with my better half during a holiday on week day :-)
