Its efficacy really depends on the user's (my) willingness to maintain the data. I'm not very good at that... Still a decent platform. Cheers, John

I have CellarTracker too but as you say, it requires constant

vigilance which is at odds with constant drinking! Thus I have good intentions, but good wine too, and the wine always wins ... so I never update the database. Mike

I with you all the way. Just can't keep up. That's why I stopped.

When I look at the drink by dates that drives me a little crazy. No time to waste. LOL.

My problem is I keep trying new things.

A bottle Argentina, 2 bottles of Nero d'Avola, 50 years old bordeax, white savennieres .... It is not that efficient when I key in the details only to drink it a day later or sometimes is drank before I had a chance to remember to update the database. But...

Nero d'avola brings back memories of Taormina Sicily

just had to keep asking for an ice bucket to cool the wine. I guees it is best to just enjoy the experience with a little thought. Please share more wines with us. Bill

The 1st time I had it it feel like a visit to chinese herbal medicine store. Crazy stuff. 2 hours in the decant barely tame it. I pair it with the craziest food combo u can imagine. It manage to stand up against everything. Will do Bill Regard Tyler

I also have no idea what I paid so I just leave my cost blank. The cellar is hard to manage as I seem to be to lifo and only hope I can find a good friend to share the old stuff with. Bill ...

Golly!

Now i understand why you need a cellar plan---i see many delightful 'treasures' among the collection!

We are staying at a winery; the owner said their private cellars are by memory

Or as we often discussed when I was a consultant, there is no substitute for " management by walking around ". I think the same goes for wine. ...

Isn’t that a proces whereby you: 1) go to cellar 2) get a bottle 3) drink it 4) when cellar half empty load up stock Right?

I was a beta tester. I have no interest so no conflict, but it keeps things well organized and I believe much more capabilities will follow. My cellar is boring though. 100% Bordeaux. Every time I buy from California, Italy even Burgundy I enjoy, but alwa...

My cellar also leans heavily towards Bordeaux.
