Any Purists born with silver spoon in mouth?
Jun 21, 2018,09:17 AM
This is too confusing! Thanks to relatives, we have 5 sets of silver and silver plate and they didn’t come with instructions. This is my favorite pattern but I can’t fathom what all the variations are for. Can you help me?

PS - I should have known better - I looked in the "other" silverware drawer and found the rest of these variations!

Two simple solutions:

1. Eat only BBQ...only your hands and many napkins needed. 2. Learn to use chopsticks. I would have to ask my wife what to do with so many forks, etc. : )
That's a good reply but not what I was asking for

I see there are all kinds of chopsticks for sale on the Internet - even some solid silver of various weights. I think I might have to have some titanium ones to go with my wedding ring and my watches! Mike
Difficult to judge the sizes but I'll give it a go:

My mother never bothered to instruct us on the proper use of all these forks (perhaps my mom was uncertain or busy with other things). But we did learn how to set the table! My grandmother used to play bridge with a lady named Bettina, who was like a godm...
