And a big thank you to you!!!

Certainly your posts have been a source of inspiration and courage to proceed with a little wine tasting adventure here on holidays. You were absolutely spot on with the decanting time - it was incredible to sense the transformation - beginning with flirtation at decanting, to seduction at first sip, and then to pure and unadulterated lust at hour five.

I appreciate your thoughts on earlier suggestions - and hope to look at earlier vintages when I return home - they will perhaps be much more accessible without the traditional resort markup (maybe the earlier versions will be similar to the markedup values?).

Finally, I am so sorry to hear that you are on a juice cleanse - whilst I'm here indulging so much! If anything it will make the new years even sweeter. If anything, I'm going to toast to you and your family and hope you enjoy an incredible rest of holiday and happy New Year!

I hope to share thoughts on the Margaux soon and then the Haut Brion - I think I will decant both 5 hours now smile

Cheers and take care!

Peter

I'm on a journey to explore and train further - as shared earlier, I believe in trying to experience the extremes in order to create guideposts. Hopefully it does not set the bar too high Cheers Peter

Trying my best..

Your post made me both hungry and eager to enjoy a fine bottle of wine. Unfortunately, after Christmas I am on a much needed four day smoothie cleanse. New Year's Eve - I can't wait! I am so glad you were patient and were able to sample the wine over 5.5 ...

And a big thank you to you!!!

We should have a rule. In the future, all posts involving good food (and wine) ought to have a moderator present! Only exception would be the COVID pandemic situation. (I'm joking of course). Looks like a wonderful event!
