My Mum and I just had a nice Omakase in Tokyo with a local. Delicious! Many thanks to the special local friend who guided us and joined us for dinner. Oishee!

The quality in Japan is much better and cheaper than in USA! I don't eat often in Singapore, but the pricing for good food (casual and fine dining) simply cannot be beat.

Inflation has been rampant in the food sector in USA. A salad in California now definitely costs more than a salad in Zurich or Geneva now.

Did they have fugu?

But it does look very high quality. If you like Spanish Catalonian food, I recommend the Restaurant Sant Pau. Lunch is about 7700 Yen (inclusive of tax, but not service charge). I found it to be an excellent and comfortable experience. I still remember my... 

Japanese food is so good. And the good hotels offer such a nice breakfast too. But I really like this restaurant and it was quite wonderful. While it was very Spanish with some French overtones, it also had a Japanese sensibility that could not be avoided... 

Reminds me of my recent Tokyo trip. Delicious!

Luckily I haven’t been disappointed yet.
