I still need to learn about American wine. It looks like a great bottle though. I did drive up through Napa Valley 15 years ago and did make a few stops. Don’t think I got a grasp of what it is though.

Some of the better made wines are aging beautifully and this was no exception. It was superb and IMO at it's prime, but then again I like age to my reds if possible. I acquired this at charity auction 5 or 6 yrs ago and have had it lying in state since. G...

The selection here is limited and it is my feeling that quality is quite pricey for the American wines when I compare them to the US prices. Still I am determined to get to know it much better. Napa is a place I will revisit as a part of a road trip with ...
