.....i tend to lean towards Vosne Romanee ,but enjoy the perfume of Volnay. Sadly these wines have become too expensive unless purchased much earlier. Glad you enjoyed these gems! best henry

Very hard to top a Vosne wine from a good producer. For value, Volnay is good a sweet spot.

You are right, though. Burgundy wines have skyrocketed in price. A very limited supply meets worldwide demand.
