I used to have a friend who would cook wonderful meals...

I used to have a friend who would invite me over and cook wonderful and healthy meals, all made from scratch, all organic, and all very high quality materials. But there was no dishwasher, so I showed my appreciation by washing the dishes. Which sometimes took nearly an hour since there was a lot of cookware to clean. Then my friend moved to a new flat that had an automatic dishwasher! I'm told it's because of COVID that I can't come over... But I suspect it's because that dishwasher has put me out of business!

Sautéed spinach, warm cream yoghurt with garlic and dill and a caramelised, nutty butter with olive oil and chilli flakes poured over the yoghurt and tuna. Preparation time: under 15 minutes. ...

Looks wonderful

Oh good idea!

I don't know how to sautée potatoes. But I guess I could learn.

Thank you for your attempts to help. But I'm pretty useless in the kitchen.

It’s an old 60s/70s cocktail but it’s making a comeback with a good shot of vodka to sharpen things up 😉

Yum

. . . dish. Lunch last Tuesday at Uncle Steve's place. He made the falafels, I brought Mom's cucumber, pepper, and parsley salad. Dressing was made with lemons from Steve's back yard. The avocado was from Uncle Jake's orchards. No beer, sad to say . . . d...

My old definition of 'seldom' . . .

. . . was three times per week. Now it's once every three weeks, and only a single pint at that. How times change ;-) . . .

Cooking is fun 😀
