Ladies and gentlemen, here it is... the smoked buffalo cheese from Campania!

This marvel originates from Campania, the region of southern Italy which has Naples as its capital: it is raw buffalo milk mozzarella, smoked on a trellis with straw and bay leaf. So, the crust is slightly hardened by heat, consistent, and turns into a go...

I live in the extreme NE of Italy and I'm so lucky to have a specialized cheese shop that sell this marvel (among many others) quite close to my home. The only alternative is the express delivery with a courier. Or take a holiday in the area of Pompei, So...
