Actually the face on my daughter was priceless after she smelled the apres dinner cognac. I think it nearly burnt her eyebrows.

I should have to do the chef justice. As for watches I was wearing an old trusty Submariner, which is dear to my heart as it was my second real watch.

As you can never relive that moment! Well now, you have a very good excuse to go back lol! Very practical reliable watch choice, you prob could have dunked it into the ice cream that your daughter had lol!

You’re absolutely right in that the ‘90 La Mission was sublime. We dropped the wine off at the restaurant and had them decant both bottles 90 minutes before arrival and La Mission was rustic, but that rustic Haut Brion amd Margaux type that is so well str...
