Good recommendation - we settled on this wine
From our cellar, and it was spectacular with the lamb. 
Now for some pie...
Sadly that dessert wine was a dud so we pulled out a very old ice wine instead.

Lambs chops with huge amounts of Rosemary (my “greens”) ...
Ooo...one of my favorite meals:
Lamb, rosemary, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and a hot BBQ grill. Oh, and a good bottle of pinot noir.

I enjoy both late harvest wines and ice wine, provided they are both very cold. A few sips are typically enough for me even while I go deep on the desserts. My wife is a big Sauternes fan...so I let her have the most. Cheers, John
